You're in the south of France. Stone still warm from the afternoon. Rosemary growing over the wall. You can hear the river murmuring in the distance. A pot of water on before anyone has thought to ask for one.
In France, tisane has always been a way of life. Herbs are steeped simply, often, and with an understanding passed from one generation to the next.
La Vie began there.
My grandmother always knew which herb to reach for.
Fennel after a meal. Verbena before bed. Rosehips when the season changed.
There was no elaborate ritual around it. No powders, concentrates, or complicated routines. Just whole plants, hot water, and knowledge that had been passed down long enough to become instinct.
Growing up between France and America, that stayed with me.
Whole plants. Simple blends. Nothing unnecessary.
La Vie makes five daily herbal blends, alongside a garden of single botanicals.
They are tisanes in the French tradition: naturally caffeine-free infusions made from herbs, flowers, leaves, roots, fruits, and spices rather than tea leaves.
Some are blended together. Some are better left entirely on their own.
All begin with the plant.

We source with freshness in mind, keeping the journey from harvest to your cup as short as we can.
