Whole purple blooms, and a cup that turns violet then pink. Grown clean, dried whole, and kept apart so it steeps to exactly itself.

About the herb
When the weeks do not let up.
Cut at the milky stage, weeks before the grain hardens and while the seed head still runs white. Oatstraw is the herb for a frayed week, taken daily over a long stretch rather than for any quick effect.
Mild, sweet and grassy, one of the gentlest things in the garden. For the week that has gone on too long, three times a day if you like. The soft base of our Calm and Sleep blends.

Water just off the boilPour 8 to 10 oz over the plant.
